First date conversation starters

So you have the first date, and everything is going fine. But suddenly and totally unexpectedly you find yourself in one of those awkward moments when neither of you have anything to say. It’s anyone’s first date nightmare.

But help is at hand, with some easy one liners which are sure to get you out of a tight spot.

Some ideas that may or may not work for you:

What kind of movies do you like?
Where would you like to eat?
What do you think of the weather?
You’re looking lovely this evening.
You look awesome.
I love what you have done with your hair.
I love the colour of your eyes.
That outfit looks great on you.
That colour brings out your eyes.
That is one sexy dress.
You’re an amazing person.
I think you’re beautiful/handsome.
I love your eyes.
Is that your smile or did heaven just light up?
I find you very appealing.
I can only hope you’re as beautiful on the inside as on the outside.
