Just who uses a dating site?

There are thousands of users out there using dating sites everyday, but why? The reason has to be that simple fact that if you walk into a major shopping mall, there would be thousands of people and you would know nothing about any of them.

But if you go to an online dating sites, then you are able to search and sift through the many thousands of members that are registered, these people have left all of their personal details onsite for all to see, and well we assume that the details are correct. So immediately the user knows about few people and from here they can begin the process to getting to know each other.

So what sort of people use internet dating sites? Just normal people most of the time who want to find a companion or partner, which is what anyone wants, isn’t it?
