Online dating site worth $1 billion

Who says that there is no money in Dating! Take a look at PlentyOfFish this is an online dating service who not only make people happy, they are also making a pretty good income, of course when I say they what I actually mean is him, because despite every this site is operated by just one person, Markus Frind.

Last year the site was getting around $10,000 per day just from Google Adsense, but in little over two years this would have tripled to $30,000 per day which equates to a massive $10 million plus for the year.

The site itself gets around 1.2 billion page views per month and a massive 500,000 unique login per day, this is a huge amount of traffic, which is why the Adsense figures are so high too. If this site is compared to say Facebook, the figure of $1 billion value on the site is not unrealistic.
