Get a good picture

After taking the plunge a signing up with an online dating service and going through all of the profile building, there is just one thing left. The photograph, this is probably the single most important thing that you will add to your profile and it needs to be picture perfect.

The man thing to remember is that many people scan the photos and then read the text later, so this is your chance to get yourself seen. No matter how it feels, at some stage, you are going to need a decent picture; otherwise, you could be wasting your time, which would be a shame.

Here are the top tips for getting your photograph right:

Less is more - This means removing anything that takes attention away from you, like hats and sunglasses.
Go Solo - Make sure it is just you in the picture; you do not want one of your friends getting the person.
No Flashing - It’s not what you think! A camera flash can make you look pale and surprised.
