Thinking of dating a prisoner

For some people having a pen pal whose is in prison can be a nice thing to do, but occasionally this may bloom into something else like love. However, when this happens there are some things that should be pointed out in order for them to stay safe.

Research your prison friend
Remember that this is a prisoner that you’re dealing with
Be wary of feeling special
Never send sexy pictures
Do not talk sexy over the phone or in writing
Do not give out too much personal information
Remember that prisoners are desperate
Control your sympathies
Leave your children out of it
Don’t be desperate for love

When dealing with a prisoner, it may seem that there is a positive barrier of protection, but some prisoners are eventually released, which is why care is needed.
