Take part in virtual speed dating
Speed dating used to be a form of match making, but faster as the match making process seemed to be taking far too long to match the right people up. So by getting all of the single people together in one room and giving them a time limit, speeded things up but only works if you live in the same area.
But speed dating is now going online thanks to Hookmeup.com, this means that single people no longer have to be in the same room and therefore increases the chances of finding the right person, even though they may live on the other side of the planet!
So how does this work? The set up the arrangements works like this:
Allow five days for completion of the “speed dates”.
All men would be given the e-mail or PM address of all of the participating women, and vice versa.
Each online dater agrees to send a message to each of their potential partners within three days, asking three questions (decide the number before inviting participants!) which they consider to be “must knows” about singles they are considering meeting.
Speed Daters agree to answer those questions within two days of receiving them.
After the five days have elapsed, each single sends the organiser the list of their five or six contacts, along with a note beside each name of whether they wish to talk more with that person or not. The organiser sends notes back to each single with the list of their potential matches who have indicated a mutual interest. From there, it’s up to each single to continue contact or not.
