Check out your daughters date

It makes no difference to a father how old their daughters are, their boyfriends are always going to be under scrutiny and why not, because a daughter is a precious thing that needs to be protected. So how can you check out the boyfriend before he gets his hooks in her?

We there is an old FBI tactic that should serve the purpose, in fact it is a bit like Robert de Niro in Meet the Fockers, so here is what you do:

Gauge his dressing style and judgment.
Ask about tattoos and piercing.
Let the conversation stop.
What’s his body language?
Check his car as they drive away.
Run a background Check.

Of course you could always just let her make her own mistakes and get on with your own life, but that just wouldn’t be a real father would it?
