Is there such a thing as dating netiquette?

Whether you call it netiquette or just plainly using some common sense, the thing about communicating online is the same for dating as it would be for business and even personal communications, some messages can come across as being rude or at the very least a bit near the mark.

Online dating is ideal for busy or shy people, which are why when communicating you need to try and keep your messages neutral, but at the same keep yourself safe and your personal information secure, here are some pointers:

Be respectful in tone and wording, no swear or rude words.

No confidential information to start off with.

Pick you online dating site carefully.

Don’t lie about yourself or your circumstances; there is no way back if you find an ideal partner.

No all capitals, one word or sentence replies, these make communicating hard work.

Relax and enjoy.
